January Favorites

This post has absolutely nothing to do with wedding planning, but I thought it would be fun to do a little round up of what I’m loving each month!

Book

I’ve been so bad at reading this month you guys – I usually try to read 1-2 books a month, but didn’t even make it through 1! So, I thought I’d share my favorite book that I read in December – Becoming by Michelle Obama! I love learning how influential people grew up, and what made them who they are today. Also, I find the White House and Secret Service so interesting and love learning about the inner workings of both! This book was so inspirational and such a fun read.

Podcast

I almost always have a podcast on – I love learning something new (or catching up on reality TV gossip) while working or driving! One of my favorites for a while has been Armchair Expert by with Dax Shepard. It’s super long, episodes are usually 2-3 hours, but it’s so entertaining! Some of my favorite re

cent episodes are Sophia Bush, Sean Hayes, and Ira Glass!

Album

Heard It In A Past Life by Maggie Rogers is a MASTERPIECE! This is all I listened to this past month. It’s perfect to throw on when you’re working, driving, or making food. This album has blown up, so if you haven’t heard it yet, you need to now!

Twin Cities Spot

I go to The Lynhall so much that my Map

s app suggests it as a place to go in the morning… oops! The sweet potato hash is to DIE for. All of the bread. All of the cake. This is the best place for meetings, working, catching up with a friend, brunch, and happy hour! They also have the perfect space for an intimate rehearsal dinner – so cute!

Instagram

If you don’t follow @heatherkmcmahan, you’re seriously missing out. Her stories are my favorite form of entertainment!

I hope you find something new to read, listen to, or visit from this post! Are there any more categories you would like me to break down monthly? Drop em below!
